FELTOM

Federation of English Language Teaching Organisations Malta
Description
FELTOM has the objective 'to set, improve, and ensure the maintenance of standards in all aspects of English language stays in Malta, primarily in the academic content but also in those services which together constitute the infrastructure requisite of a language stay.'

The federation established quality assurance standards in the EFL industry on the Island.

Benefit to Client
Clients attending FELTOM accredited schools have a guarantee that schools operate to specified standards and have been inspected by independent inspectors who have verified the level of operation.

Complaint Procedure
Schools must have in place their own complaint procedure, which must be made available to FELTOM inspectors on request. Should FELTOM receive a complaint about one of its member schools it holds the right to carryout spot checks on the school in question, examine how the complaint was handled by the school and hold an independent investigation if necessary. Schools found to be in breach of the FELTOM Accreditation Scheme could ultimately have their membership terminated
