Why Isle of Wight? The Isle of Wight is an island off the south coast of England situated just over 2 hours from London. It boasts miles of stunning coastline views and beaches and is known for its a mild climate and its myriad outdoorsy activity options. When the weather is not so kind, there is wealth of history and heritage to discover too. On the island’s western point, The Needles are 3 huge, dramatic white chalk cliffs which are guarded by a 19th-century lighthouse.
