The most common ones are the Zertifikat Deutsch as well as the Zentrale Mittelstufenprüfung. Most German Universities accept the Zentrale Mittelstufenprüfung to apply to university. In addition, a presentation of your language skills is demanded with the Deutsche Sprachprüfung für die Hochschule (German for University), which every University organizes itself.
