Additional information
Positive aspects of school
Lessons very well designed, varied teaching methods
Negative aspects
Unfortunately, only two lessons per day, as I was the only beginner.
City/place
Lively Arab city with manageable sights, pleasantly unobtrusive people.
Accommodation
Flat very dirty, I was told that they were not informed that the room was occupied. No cooking utensils. After difficult conversations in terms of language, I was given a hoover and cleaning supplies to clean the room myself.

Additional information
Positive aspects of school
The small classes, the practical vocabulary, the organization for the accommodation.
Negative aspects
Sometimes I missed having some practical information from the beginning what many people would need but nobody knew. Maybe its possible to have a document where all students can write information they find important that everybody knows: e.g. the bus card you get in front of the university, with this bus you can go to wasat il balad...
Insider tips about what future students should not miss
Go to Wadi Mujib, it is totally worth it but you dont need a guided tour (I heard people do that but you cant do something wrong).
Quality of teaching / language progress
It was really nice to have these small classes.
Accommodation
I am not sure if I would choose it again. on one side I could meet people from Jordan and could learn some things about the country. Also, I got to eat some Jordanian food, which was nice. On the other hand this family did not seem to have real interest in me, sometimes I didnt see them for four days. The man didn't take the time to speak to me, just when he had something to do in the kitchen and I was there. The woman sat with me often when I had my supper which was nice but disappeared all of a sudden to the living room where I never sat because I wasn't sure if I can be there or just in my room and the kitchen. In the end they didn't have time to have one meal together where I would cook something from home. But maybe they were just busy. And I couldn't say goodbye to them because the man was in the sleeping room my whole last evening and the woman came home at one am. Also, I was never sure if I could enter the building to get into the flat because they didn't have a key for the house so I sometimes sat there until somebody would come outside (but of course because of that I couldn't be too late). But still, I really appreciated that the woman took some time with me and told me things about Jordan and taught me some amia and cooked for me. When I came home she asked me in Arabic how my day was, which was nice but then she switched to English because she wouldn't try to speak Fusha because it doesnt make sense to speak standard Arabic. So I didn't really speak a lot of Arabic even though I am quite capable meanwhile to have a conversation in Arabic. But I guess I could have insisted more. I would recommend the school to let the students evaluate their family in the end of the stay not just anonymous so they can see how the families are and if several students share the same experiences. I don't know if this is anonymous so I will write my name: Lisa and I was in the family of Tamara and Ammar Haddad

The only thing I can think of is that the abundance of lessons is very intensive for a short stay. However, this is also due to my short availability.

Additional information
Positive aspects of school
I loved my teacher, the individual focus and the excursions. The facility is very clean and everyone is very courteous and professional.
City/place
Amman is noisy, the air quality is not great and the public transportation is very limited and hard to navigate. However, the people are warm and friendly and the city is located near a lot of very interesting places.
Accommodation
Wonderful homestay family - very warm and welcoming and a wonderful cook! The downside was having to take a 15 minute taxi ride back and forth every day, which meant extra money and time.

Petra, of course, but also the lower town, the Citadel, the Roman theater ..
Other comments
It is more than advisable to speak English to get explanations from teachers, at least for beginners.
