I especially enjoyed the capability of the grammar teacher, Silvia. Even though Italian is new to me and she spoke only Italian, I believe I understood most of what she said. The afternoon tours with her were wonderful.

Course: Standard Course - 2 weeks
Student age: 75 years
Great location. Nice small classes. Very friendly teachers. You felt they knew who you were. Teachers made a good effort to include everyone and be positive. Private lesson was excellent but on the very expensive side. Prohibitively expensive (too expensive for many). A mixture of grammar and oral, which in theory was good. A really fun week which I loved.
One of the best weeks I’ve had for a while but I feel that in terms of language learning and facilities it could be so much better.

Course: Intensive Course - 1 week
Student age: 67 years
- Friendly teachers, German language was banned, whenever necessary it was translated and explained in English (which was a problem for students who couldn't speak English).
- Punctuality and reliability, tightly organised lessons
The learning content was actually still written on the blackboard, multimedia was not used
I received a link to a school WhatsApp group in advance. No one at the school approached us about it and no contact was made, so it was kind of pointless. But maybe it's only interesting for students who are staying much longer than a week.

Course: Standard Intensive - Gold - 2 weeks

Everything was very personal and individual. The contact with the teachers was friendly and I felt very well looked after. The way of teaching was also very goal-oriented and a lot of fun. I would not have thought it possible that I would learn sooo much in just one week. It was really fantastic and I will definitely do it again. I also really enjoyed the afternoon events.
