Additional information
Positive aspects of school
The location is great, right in the middle of Marbella's old town. Small groups.
Negative aspects
The school's communication beforehand I had asked if there were 5 days of classes due to Easter weekend, this was confirmed. When I arrived the first day on Monday, I was told it was only 3 days because of Easter. As a result, I had far fewer hours of lessons. Totally no explanation where one could e.g. drink something during breaks, there was no room or coffee machine in the school nothing at all was organised in terms of activities.
Other comments
Communication really needs to improve, as a new student I had to tell the other existing students that we only had 3 days of classes.
City/place
Beautiful, fun and cosy.

My week at the school was a lot of fun and I was able to learn a lot. The teachers were great.
Negative aspects
On two days we were a bit disturbed by construction work.
The flamenco class would have been better in a nicer room with a mirror:)

Additional information
Positive aspects of school
The teachers are very nice. If you just want to learn Spanish without building social contacts or network, this is perfect.
Negative aspects
No one welcomes you as a student. No general information will be discussed with you. In addition, if you are ill you will simply lose your lessons instead of a compensation. Also, there were no group activities or excursions at all. You also get very little time for lunch. And everything is given in Spanish which is quite difficult to follow as a beginner. Reported several times but nothing was done. Requested to schedule private lessons, that never happened either. Basically I lost all my money. Had paid for 3 weeks and only been able to take 4 classes. Communication was also very bad about compensation etc. You are not really listened to. Wouldn't go here again.
Insider tips about what future students should not miss
Be prepared that the guidance is less on location. And that no group activities are organized. So it's nothing for a social life.
Other comments
Teachers were nice, unfortunately no one thinks about solutions even though you paid them a decent amount.
City/place
Wonderful city! Lots of activities to do and the people are super nice.
Quality of teaching / language progress
It is really very intensive to follow 4x 55 minutes and then with a 20 minute break where you can't really eat. So be prepared for that.

Additional information
Positive aspects of school
Good teachers and good intake so that you receive lessons at the right level.
City/place
Marbella is not the best place to learn Spanish. Many foreigners live in Marbella, so you are often addressed in English in shops. Marbella has beautiful beaches, a nice old center and a lively entertainment center around the harbor.
Quality of teaching / language progress
School with small classes so that you take classes at an appropriate level. Lessons are structured, with regard to teaching material, homework was also given. Explanation of theory grammar could be a bit more extensive because after theory, practice immediately follows. Sometimes practice was difficult because the theory was still insufficiently clear.

Insider tips about what future students should not miss
Parking close by is expensive, so you need to come super early to find a free place to park in surrounding neighbourhoods.
Other comments
Class sizes were too big as we joined the second week in September. Not much chance to speak. As for value for money, it was almost the same price as if I had gone elsewhere for private lessons.

What I liked: I was only there for one week, therefore I was not forced to buy a book, I could simply work with existing material. What I didn`t like so much: the classrooms were too small for so many participants, at least in my class. It was a pity there was no discount on the course price despite there was a public holiday.

The teachers, especially the ones who spoke english and the small number of students in each class.

a better organization for providing the keys of the flats would be really important. I spent more than 1 hour to find the person in charge to give me the key, walking at mid-day through Marbella, with the luggage and after a long trip!
