Additional information
Positive aspects of school
I liked the school very much. The large classrooms are pleasant in terms of room temperature. The teachers are dedicated, patient and do a good job.
Negative aspects
I can't think of anything.
City/place
I enjoy Trieste time and time again. I've been there about twice every time since 2018. However, because there are so many cruise ships docking now, the city is quite crowded and noisy during this time.
Accommodation
The room was retro. That would still be acceptable, but also the kitchen, bathroom and toilet and these rooms were shared by three students and the landlady. For this reason I would not book this accommodation again, although the landlady was very nice.

Positive aspects of school
The school is well located, the teachers are for the most part very good, speak slowly and clearly. Which is very advantageous for beginners. The excursions in the afternoons were varied. I can recommend the school to others. If there were any problems or queries, I always received support.
Negative aspects
I had booked a 2 week language course. Unfortunately, the lessons in the first week did not meet my requirements. After I reported this, the lessons were adjusted. So this "negative" point is also positive again :)
Accommodation
I was staying with a "signora", she was very friendly, but unfortunately the flat and my room were not very clean. Especially the bathroom was dirty. However, I was allowed to use the fridge and the kitchen if I wanted to cook something. So I cannot rate the meals, I booked the accommodation without meals.

Additional information
Positive aspects of school
The teachers, especially Anna and Marina, who accompanied and excellently guided the afternoon excursions. They were also always helpful, thoughtful and very patient.
Negative aspects
It was very cold in the classrooms. However, one could counteract this with warm clothing. (I think it is actually very right that there is no heating in May - if only because of energy saving/environmental protection).
One star less for organisation: On the first day, a lot of class time was lost because many people - including me - still had to pay. Maybe we should have been called in half an hour earlier. Or insist on payment in advance.
I often didn't like the group work because the rooms had very strong reverberation effects, so that I heard the other groups too loudly and sometimes had trouble concentrating. (Possibly also due to my age)
City/place
Exciting and relaxed. Very pleasant. Only the food wasn't as great as expected. Probably bad luck with the restaurant selection.
