The teachers are professional and very friendly, although some of them are a bit slow in the teaching process and do not ensure that every student can participate in conversation during the lesson.

I liked the fact that the teachers were able to facilitate the lessons through Spanish without any of the meaning being lost. The constant use of the language provided a great means to pick up the language. Also one of the teachers was a Rory Gallagher fan!

The one thing I was disappointed with was the students were predominantly fresh out of high school. Being a little older than that, would have liked a higher proportion of students in their mid-20's and above. Would have made the conversations more interesting. But the teachers I had were all quite good.

I really recommend this school. The course was awesome! If you're Brazilian, like me, you might find that the method is not exactly suited for speakers of latin-languages, and you'll often find that you're wasting time when people are discussing vocabulary or grammar. Despite that, I could still learn a lot and I do recommend the experience!

The teachers are really great and they create a very friendly and informal atmosphere in class. The worst thing is that sometimes the students within a class have different levels and slow you down.

Would have helped to have a course guide at the start to show the topics which would have been covered and for the preparation. Lessons never started on time but always finished on time or earlier. "Guide to Barcelona" introduction on first day was inconsistent. It is a wonderful city with many things to see and do. This was not suggested at all throughout the initial talk, only little info offered besides a map of the town.

Classes are not only hold in the morning, but also from 1.30pm to 5pm. Teachers are very friendly and helpful and take student wishes into consideration. Classes are held in double-hours (90 min). Conversation classes from my point of view are not very helpful, because if there are more than 5 students, you don't talk much individually. Teaching takes usually place in class exercises, not split up into pairs or groups of 3. At beginners level many Germans (not really much talking in a foreign language), at intermediate and above almost none. All in all this school is to be recommended.

Insider tips about what future students should not miss
It is possible to print out courses content that the teachers require. Should accelerate the school timetable. Too much waffle for each exercise. I had during 12 days only 3 lessons. It didn't really helped me to progress. Conversational classes only lasted half an hour. Have the possibility to choose either classes in the morning or in the afternoon.
Other comments
Rooms offered by host families are not that big, the fenester wasn't large and the bed was stuck behind a cupboard, the sprung mattress wasn't that cozy, the vue wasn't amazing... ! Need to check the bathroom conditions... I have some pictures and I can show them to you if you want to. Ask families only to speak in spanish and cooking good meals with good value for money. It wasn't what I got. And finally, I was lonely during diner time, not that nice.

Insider tips about what future students should not miss
In reality an intensive course of 20 hours per week comes to 13 and a half hours, because during the first day of clas you have to attend the level test and you only have an hour and a half of lessons. In the following days the hours are from 9:00 to 12:30 with a half hour break. It's useless to buy the textbook because it is used not very often. Borrow it instead.
