The conversation class at the advanced level was ok: but these things are only good if there are no more than 3 students in the class. Otherwise, you won't get to talk much in the 45 minutes, which pass very fast. The UIMP teachers in Santander are comparatively better qualified although the ABC teachers are pretty good. 

The terrace on the top of the building is very nice. You could get to know a lot of people there.

You should not miss the magic fountains at Plaza Espanya, it is very beautiful and romantic.

I think it is really good value and the location of the school (Gràcia) is in a quite typical Spanish-Catalan area.

it is always a problem at a language school that the quality of each class depends entirely on the quality and the efforts of the teacher. Here, it was not an exception. However, I was fairly satisfied at the end because the organiser was willing to help with the students who wanted replacements.

Conversation class, the terrace on the roof. There was fresh food available (sandwiches and a different salad every day). The other schools only had vending machines. The teachers and the secretary were really friendly. The Welcome Beach Parties, etc. JUST TRY IT!

There are quite a lot of Swedish students at this school. The information doesn´t list a percentage, but there were soooo many when I was there. They are really cool though. :-)

My teacher was excellent.

Students came from an extraordinarily broad variety of countries.

You shouldn´t miss the beach parties the school organizes. They are a lot of fun and it´s the best way to get to know students from other classes.

I took the class "General and Business Spanish". In the general class we were a max. of 10 students, in the business class we were a max. of 2 (!). So, the language progress in the business class was extraordinary.

The usual guest family is just one old grooky woman who makes that professionally. Usually there is only very cheap food.

I just loved ABC college esspecially my teacher, she was really kind of cute - explaining a spanish beginner-class how to speak spanish without using any other language :)

Great teachers!

Families could be very different, I was probably lucky. There is meaning of staying with a family if they dont talk to you. Some students never say there families.

Barcelona nightlife! Oveja Negra, Terazza, - a school-published brochure of good places would be a good idea.

I would have liked to know a little more about my host family, rather than just names and addresses - perhaps you could get the hosts to write a very short message about themselves to put in the information to students.
