In the first two month I had a great teacher (Ines). She was soooo patient and although some days we thought we won't learn this never, we had a good laugh. Learning with her was fun, class passed quickly and we learned a lot. Thank you so much!! The classes are really small which is perfect.
Insider tips about what future students should not miss
It is very easy to find an apartment in Montreal. If you don't want a homestay (which can be outside), book at a hostel(Montreal Central is great and 5 min walk from the school) for the first week and get an apartment. From airport to city take the 747-bus (8$), easy to find, ticket machine (you need cash) and bus stop at airport exit. check this: http://www.meetup.com/#2012-4-13-1 meet with people to practice your language.

Don't expect the café linguistic....I had it only once in 4 month!!! The organisation is very poor.

The teachers are excellent. They build on what students already know and encourage conversation in an informal, light-hearted and friendly manner. Teaching materials and methods focus on real-life scenarios rather than more traditional methods, so students build confidence quickly.

Too much homework, personally I think students want to learn but have fun too when the go to Canada, an 3 hours daily of homework is not really having fun, if I would have known this school gave students so much homework I would have enrolled in another one.

come prepare to practice your french instead of expecting to learn it there, it goes a little to fast if you are only there for few weeks.

Teachers were caring anc close to each student. As the school is very small everyone knows everyone ( around 30 students), they monitor your learning ptocess, its like a family.
Insider tips about what future students should not miss
We rented a car in cristoph street, its an area where they rent houses to turist really close to the school and the center. My classmates told me thet homesatys are about 30 minutes in public to the school so if you go with another person at leat I would really recommend youto rent a flat (kijiji.ca) or go to a hostel and look for it there as there are ads and it maybe cheaper from there.

tips: -Go to Ney York ( 7 hours in bus) -Niagara falls (near Toronto)-7 hours bus but INCREDIBLE! -party and beer in St.Laurent and St.Denis -If you drink of smoke bear in mind that over there is very expensive, Buy int on the Duty Free instead. -Metro is expensive, hire a bike ( 28 dolars CAN per month), cross Jacques Cartier bridge and visit the islands,Gilles Villeneuve bike road,is free and incredible, Enjoy your stay, buy jean and visit the dollarama!
