Monday mornings week 2,3,4 were a waste as the teachers bided their time waiting for new students and then spent Monday afternoon working out their levels. We played battleships over and over. The other students were young. I would have liked a class my age. The teacher was the same week 2,3,4 and was the worst I have had. The teacher in week one was brilliant and I had some private lessons with him where I learned more in an hour than a day in the class.

I really enjoyed my Spanish teacher, she was great, I learned a lot with her and she also had a lot of enthusiasm in class, it was very lively. I also enjoyed passing the test at the beginning of the course to find myself in the right class, the right level for me, I felt so comfortable.
Insider tips about what future students should not miss
2 things to say: the heating problem. Some classes are very hot and some very cold. For housing it was the same. The apartment is very good but insufficient heating in winter. And also we are sometimes a little tight in the classes.
Other comments
I really liked Barcelona Language School for its seriousness, the quality of the teachers and courses, the organization and the professionalism.

Overall, the school seemed well organised. But again, I was disappointed by the group divisions; as usual in low season there were only courses up to the level B2 and the groups were very mixed in terms of the level. I had experienced the same at other schools (besides Enforex Madrid). I was lucky with my teachers, so all in all, everything was fine.

Insider tips about what future students should not miss
Still depending on the number of the students (in a class) and a teacher's teaching style, this school seems not to be ideal for the beginners. This school was not for me at least. As they taught using a ready-made textbook, I had to memorize the less commonly used vocabulary such as tuxedo, tights and pantihose, even though I had not learned the past tense yet. We had to practice the conversation among beginners though, we could neither express our opinions nor understand what we were speaking were correct. We often ended up speaking in English. I'm sure that there are more important support for the beginners. Actually I studied in another school in the previous week. Comparing with the school, this school's method is poorer and less effective.
Other comments
I'm afraid that not only teachers but also school staff were not very friendly, perhaps because there were too many students. When I asked to a school staff, he recommended me to ask a Japanese staff who came in the afternoon, although I could communicate in English.
