Il corso full time lascia veramente poco tempo durante la settimana per fare i turisti. Bisogna studiare anche dopo la scuola.

Los cursos full time, en mi opinión, no merecen la pena pues por las tardes ya estas cansado y no rindes igual. Además la clase de speaking es un timo pues hablas con tus compañeros que cometen en el mejor de los casos los mismos errores que tu y el profesor no puede corregir a todos los alumnos. Además en Basil Paterson, en Edimburgo, tienen cursos para profesores de inglés y por las tardes puedes, a veces, recibir clases de conversación gratuitas con estos profesores en prácticas.

Pedir a la escuela que te den un papel firmado por la familia donde estén claras las obligaciones por parte de la familia al tener un estudiante. De esta manera te aseguras de que os han dicho lo mismo a la familia y a tí y evitas malentendidos posteriores con la familia. Me refiero a: comidas durante el fin de semana, veces a la semana que tienen que limpiar la habitación y el baño,frecuencia para el cambio de ropa de cama y toallas,posibilidad de utilizar el salón y la televisión..Para las familias es un negocio y algunas lo único que hacen es ofrecerte una habitación y darte la cena sin preocuparse de nada más. No esperes que te den conversación. Nosotros vamos con la idea de poder charlar cada día con la familia o ver con ellos la Tv y en muchos casos ellos pasan.
