Location in lovely Bordeaux. Small class size of 12 helped my french speaking ability a lot. Liked emphasis on speaking.

I recommend staying with a family, I heard only good comments from other students staying with families.
Other comments
Before signing up for one of their outings check how long you'll get at the destination. Often cheaper to organise a trip yourself & you get more time at the destination.

Other comments
The staff at the office was most helpful with non-academic matters (where to eat, what to do on holidays, etc.). That, combined with the excellent teachers, made for a great experience.

The school computer cannot read Japanese. I recommend to bring your own computer. you can use Wifi.

I spend gread time in Bordeaux. I met great friends. the staff was also nice. if you need some help, just ask them.

professor was very strict, and students are coming from all over the world. we have to talk in french, that's why we can progress our skill for french easily.

the fee isn't cheap, but the quality is very high,and they have many activity, every day. I recommend everyone to go there.

the classroom was too small. If the flight back home is on a Sunday evening you have no possibility to store your suitcase at the Appartvalley Residence (the reception is closed from 12.00 to 17.00 o´clock!) or in school (is closed saturday and sunday)

The neighborhood around the school is delightfully cosmopolitan reminding me of the Latin Quarter in Paris. Charming narrow streets and a world-wide selection of inexpensive restaurants. Excellent bookshop (Mollat) within ten minute stroll from the school.

Homestay is recommended. As i did, it would be nice to contact your host family personaly beforhand.
Other comments
I really enjoyed the homestay not only in terms of language study but of experiments of French daily life. I strongly recommend the option of homestay.
