Additional information
Positive aspects of school
Preparation course for TestDaf, the teacher Salmon Kuhi, also the teachers Giovanna and Johanna.
Other comments
A good school, always offers accommodation with their courses. It was important for me, it made my visa application easier.
Accommodation
The room at Forstenrieder Allee was good, I recommend to book it with meals. I didn´t like the hostel in the school building, the frames had black mold. Noisy neighbors, who the school administration couldn´t calm down, they didn´t allow´me to sleep at night.

Insider tips about what future students should not miss
My advice is that if you really want to learn the German language you have to give all of yourself, talk, study and always ask if you don't understand something. And above all leave the groups of your own nationality because you then will talk just your language and no German !!

It is necessary to take into account another factor, that if on arrival at the school your group will be small (2-3 people), instead of 48 hours you will be only 28, which is not a super intensive course, you paid already.

Additional information
Positive aspects of school
The teaching was good. Both professors were well prepared and prone to makes us talk. After all the location of the school was also good. It's not as close as you might think to amenities and transportation but still OK.
Insider tips about what future students should not miss
If you take the guesthouse and have lot of stuff to plug in, I would suggest bringing one of those plug multipliers as there is basically only one plug and it's needed for the light. In essence I had to pick between seeing what I was doing or charging my phone. Also, most activities fill up like crazy fast so for instance if it's planned on Friday, sign up on Monday.
Other comments
Overall I had a good experience but there was something that really bothered me - something which I had never experienced in other language schools. Basically, because they accept very large groups which have some bilateral agreement with Germany, diversity was really down to a minimum. The school was packed with Brazilians and Mexicans, if I had to guess at least 60/70 percent were one or the other - and you know how it works, they tend to stay within their group so the rest of us were hugely excluded. The rest were Asian in general. To be honest it was kind of tough to make new friends, again, something which never happened to me in these college/language schools. Maybe mine was an unlucky intake, who knows....Finally, I must add that, Yes, CDC is cheaper than other schools, especially the well-known Goethe and in regards to teaching the level is just slightly under (been to both) but the accommodation were barely meeting "hostel" levels. The rooms were OK let's say, but kitchen and bathroom were absolute rubbish. The Guesthouse needs some heavy refurbishing asap. In conclusion, courses are good, prices are good but accommodation is rubbish and if they accepting huge groups from a single country as their normal business model then the social/diversity aspect is also an issue.

Positive aspects of school
I don't really like the school ! Only the location is ok.
Other comments
The teacher was very unprofessional. Compared with a german school in Zürich in which I studied before, the quality of the teacher, energy and motivation was lacking. The teachers even came unprepared to the lessons. I felt like the course was wasting my time and money and I would not recommend this school to anyone who really want to learn German.

Insider tips about what future students should not miss
In this school each course, such as A1, is divided into 2 sub classes A1.1 and A1.2 for a three weeks period each. Booking for a month means not even complete a course. This is something that I would have bear in mind during the enrollment process if I had it known before.
Other comments
The school is very good. The teachers who folow you are attentive enough to give you the right advice for a better learning.

There is a Mensa (cafeteria) nearby and an Imbiss across the street that have cheap food. Also if you are staying at least a week, get the IsarCard for the public transportation - it is cheap and is valid for all transp. types.
Other comments
I have been to two other schools in Germany and CDC is the best I've seen so far. They have two buildings to themselves (it is a 5 minute walk from the tram), the classrooms are good-sized with not too many students in each level. Also one building is the 'Guest House'. I stayed with a host family which was also great, but from what I gathered from friends who stayed in the 'Guest House' it is quite good with gender separation and showers on each floor, plus you are right there for class each day. The social program happened about once a week and they do a good job of letting you know about upcoming excursions.
