The teachers are young and full of energy so the lessons are never boring. But I also loved the fact that the classrooms and the "Gästehaus" were in neighbouring buildings so there was no early-morning rush-hour public transport for the students staying there.

Insider tips about what future students should not miss
There is a Mensa (cafeteria) nearby and an Imbiss across the street that have cheap food. Also if you are staying at least a week, get the IsarCard for the public transportation - it is cheap and is valid for all transp. types.
Other comments
I have been to two other schools in Germany and CDC is the best I've seen so far. They have two buildings to themselves (it is a 5 minute walk from the tram), the classrooms are good-sized with not too many students in each level. Also one building is the 'Guest House'. I stayed with a host family which was also great, but from what I gathered from friends who stayed in the 'Guest House' it is quite good with gender separation and showers on each floor, plus you are right there for class each day. The social program happened about once a week and they do a good job of letting you know about upcoming excursions.

the excursions! A great way to meet people and see Muenchen (a gorgeous city)
Other comments
each course has two professors, which is unusual but actually works well. The dorm is shared with students of the collegium, so there are a lot of young people around.

The hours in the media center (intensive course) are very satisfying. You meet people of different courses and you can compare with them.
Insider tips about what future students should not miss
In this school each course, such as A1, is divided into 2 sub classes A1.1 and A1.2 for a three weeks period each. Booking for a month means not even complete a course. This is something that I would have bear in mind during the enrollment process if I had it known before.
Other comments
The school is very good. The teachers who folow you are attentive enough to give you the right advice for a better learning.

Insider tips about what future students should not miss
The kitchen was missing a microwave. It could be better to bring a powerbar to keep in the room because there are very few power outlets and the plug-ins available are already in use for the fridge and a table lamp.

Positive aspects of school
Everything was excellent: the school's facilities and the classes were also excellent. Everything was very well organized and very attentive staff, always trying to please your needs. The school organized many activities and tours that helped to integrate pleople. Just excelent! The school and hotel were in the same building, and only 10 minutes walk from the center of Munich. Very handy!
