The host family was wonderful! The staff in Lucca is comprised of really nice people, and the instructors are very good. The private lessons were the best part of the educational experience.
Insider tips about what future students should not miss
I would recommend staying with a host family that speaks Italian so that you can capitalize on every learning opportunity. Try to stay away from people that want to revert back to their native languages so that you are forced to live and think in Italian.
