Personal attention and customoisation of lessons

Very easy to travel to other towns by train and bus. Silves was best.

Only downside was lack of other students (only one other) which limited social activities

Cristina Palma was a very good teacher. We were only 3 students, we became a family. Nice!

I lived in Albufeira, many beautiful beaches. Took a buss to Faro every day, transrapido 45 minutes. Could have the school and beach holiday the same time.

I will prolong my studies with one week. I have mailed to my teacher to know when i could start!

Location

Heavy difficulty for the school to explain the hostfamily-address. The teacher refused to explain in english, because the prefered to speak portugese. Very good but, minutes later the teacher was explaining for several minutes in german for the german students. The student book was bad.

Beautiful location near the center. Staff is always helpful and friendly.

Don´t miss a trip to Sagres and the beaches near Sagres. You can get a good rate for a car-rental at the airport. Sharing a car with some students are less expensive and definitely a good thing.

There are 4 classrooms and a nice yard. At each level there were not more than 3 students, even in August. It seems Faro is less crowdy than most of other places. For some partypeople may be a bit slow, but perfect for combining study and leisure. My teacher prefered to teach less grammatical issues and the focus was always on speaking, listening and comprehension. The book was excellent. You can take your own copy home. If you like they will sell you a exercise book and grammar book for the same price as the local bookstore.
