Teaching in French, a huge amount of live communication in the classroom, working out the skill of live speech perception
Insider tips about what future students should not miss
Do not think that teachers are wizards and will tell you all the possible 'astuces ' regarding the exam. Even a month in a language school will not replace practical work on exam tasks.

Additional information
Positive aspects of school
The four teachers and admin staff were really lovely.
Negative aspects
This is a small school, so it is easy to fall between the gaps. I was B1-B2 level but was placed in a C1 (too advanced), then A1, then A2 level over a 5-day period in a trial and error process. No-one took the time to individually evaluate me to save this 5 days of mis-placing. In the end I repeated all the grammar I already knew, and did not have the full chance to practice speaking which was my SOLE reason for spending a fortune to come to France from Australia for a month. With about 10 students at the school it was also hard to find someone to chat with outside school.
Insider tips about what future students should not miss
Check they have your level and what grammar has been done, or go to a larger school.
Other comments
There was no on-line support materials as offered by larger schools, and classes very heavily based in grammar exercises and some speaking, with practically no listening exercises. In short, I enjoyed my stay in France but the language-learning part (learning to speak French) was not worth anywhere near what I paid for it.

Keep an eye on the announcements for excursions that are posted in the foyer: there are lots of fascinating places to explore in the South of France, and, to be sure, those tours are just another enjoyable occasion to test your French in a different situation.

I think the school may be too small to support the idea of starting at various levels on a given Monday. They seem to try to compensate by having students of different levels of experience and presenting the material in an unstructured manner. Personally, I don't think it works as well as being in a more structured program at the appropriate level.

This is not a course for beginners. I was in a class with others who had taken many courses, and the instructor spoke very rapidly in French, very frustrating to me as a beginner.

Insider tips about what future students should not miss
It's a familiar school without many and many students, but most of them are from Switzerland. The twoo student residences are nearer the school than the guest families. It's easy to go to the sea with a tram, 30 minutes only. During the month of August, every Friday evening there is the Festival of wine!

The school is good but it's really the city and people you meet that make it a great experience. Ecole Klesse has great teachers and Montpellier is an amazing city! So much history, fun and loads of things to do!

The school is not too big, so it's easy to get to know a lot of people. If you really want to learn a lot it's probably better to take an intensive course, if you also want to do a lot of other things the standard course is great.
