The teacher and the secretaries were very friendly and always helpful. Great teacher.

Ask if the acomodation is in the center, if the house is far, more than 10 minutes, don't go there.

The handouts aren't appropriate and they don't give you a book.

My host family was the best part of the experience. The school had very small classes, which was what I was after.

I questioned my original host family placement with a single woman, requesting a family. I'm 63, ended up with a couple in their 60s, a dog and one other student, and was very happy there. The school was very accommodating in being open to changes and helping me out, also very patient.

The school is good but it's really the city and people you meet that make it a great experience. Ecole Klesse has great teachers and Montpellier is an amazing city! So much history, fun and loads of things to do!

Homestay and teachers

The instruction was very good and I learned a lot, both in school and at the homestay. The majority of students are Swiss.

Montpellier: really a beautiful city, but quite expensive!! Count that into your calculations! rnAccomodation: If you really want to speak French 24/7 it is absolutely best to live with a local family!! Living with other students often leads to speaking English or other languages.

Courses for absolute beginners do not start every Monday. I decided to start my course the first Monday of August and it was good, but I was lucky because nobody had informed me.

The school is not too big, so it's easy to get to know a lot of people. If you really want to learn a lot it's probably better to take an intensive course, if you also want to do a lot of other things the standard course is great.

The school is in the center of the city and it gives you the opportunity of living the Montpellier's life in an easy way. On the other hand, I would like to thank the treatment of the teachers and other staff of the school for being always next to us to help us in every possible way
