"Great location in the city centre, relaxed atmosphere, good metro connections. Overall, good value for money and culturally very enriching."
City/place
"An incredibly great city: so much culture, fantastic tapas and dining options, countless nightlife options, a relaxed atmosphere, and a great public transportation network with the metro. Affordable breakfast deals, very inexpensive overall, close to Málaga, and surrounded by impressive mountains. Simply perfect."

Positive aspects of school
"I took classes for one month, and it was so enjoyable because my classmates changed almost every week. I met many different people, as the students ranged widely in age, from teenagers to post-retirement seniors.
The teachers also rotated, allowing me to take lessons from four different instructors. While three continuous 90-minute classes every day were tiring, the days were incredibly fulfilling. The school's tapas event was also great fun."
Negative aspects
"The private DELE preparation lessons were beneficial, especially because I could have my writing assignments corrected. However, for the reading section, the instructor did not have the answer key, and in some instances, the answer provided by the teacher was uncertain. I believe this shows a lack of preparation on the school's part.
When I had to miss a day due to illness and contacted the administration, I received no information about rescheduling the class.
The school building feels old, and with only two restrooms, queues can form during busy periods. The lack of air conditioning would likely be challenging in the middle of summer."
Insider tips about what future students should not miss
"It depends on the time of year, but it is a fun school for a wide range of ages."

City/place
"It's a compact city, but I think it has plenty of great sights to see. Going on a tapas crawl is particularly fun! It is a very safe city; I never felt uneasy walking around even at night.
A minor drawback is that Granada Airport is not a major hub, so you often have to rely on Malaga Airport.
The evenings get cold starting in November. I also found it to be quite dry and ended up buying a small humidifier."

"The location of the house is definitely convenient to the school (from which it is about a 5-minute walk) and to the centre of town. The house is a bit old, maybe I would consider changing some slightly dated appliances and the window facing the balcony, but it has everything you need to live comfortably."

"I was warmly welcomed at the school and immediately provided with all the information I needed, both verbally and in writing. The lesson times were ideal for me, as was the organisation of the lessons. Our two teachers, Pablo and Fransisco, were committed, extremely competent and very empathetic - I was more than impressed. If I were ever to attend a language course again, this school would be my absolute first choice. Everything was just right here - the organisation, the composition of the learning group, the provision of teaching materials and, above all, our teachers. Respect and many thanks for that."

"The school is not a large one so that the number of enrolled students can be very small at specific times of the year. The end of the August is such time. Even if there were some cultural or social activities planned, they were cancelled because there weren't enough students to carry out such activities. So those who are considering to study at this school should keep that in mind."

"I studied at this school for two weeks, and the first week, there were very few students and I ended up with taking one to one lesson with one of the professors, Paco. It was the first time that I took such a lesson, and his way of teaching is very practical, creative, and a lot of fun! I really appreciate it."
Accommodation
"I encountered one big cockroach! It is Spain, so it cannot be helped probably, but I got scared and had to wait in the bathroom until it disappeared from the hallway. The apartment itself was good, including the weekly cleaning by the cleaning ladies, but spraying or some other device to get rid of cockroaches should be done regularly."

"The school itself is pretty, with a nice courtyard, good amenities like clean bathrooms and many computers with internet. DVDs can be borrowed and watched at home. The people that work there, including the manager, his secretary, and all the teachers are extremely friendly, fun, warm, and knowledgeable. I had reserved for one week, then extended it to two weeks, and then the day before leaving reserved for a third week, I was enjoying myself so much. The apartment that we were assigned to was very big and had everything we could need, and we made friends and had a lot of fun while living there."
