Je suis contente car j'ai fait des progrès mais pour les gens de mon âge, c'est difficile. Les cours privés sont une bonne solution. On peut aller à son propre rythme.

Global Exchange Center in Beijing is a great school for those who are interested in learning Chinese. The teachers are all very interesting and bright and are for the most part excellent teachers. The classes are small and the materials and resources available for class are effective. I would definitely recommend this school for anyone traveling to Beijing and will myself return in the future.

I found Michael really helpful and committed in all his effort (even when when I got lost in the night and I had to call him). The location of the school is quite close to other schools-university and all the information received the first days helped me to socialize and get around in Beijing. I would only suggest the school to make a kind of selection about levels. I think there should be an "entrance-test" to understand each student level, and then group students in class based on their level.

Stay with a host family near the school. Buy a 2nd hand bike and explore Beijing. Go on the weekend trips organised by the school, especially the Great Wall at Simatai. Buy a SIM card for your mobile phone

Although a small school, it is very efficiently run. The administrator, Michael Wang, was very helpful in advising and sorting out any problems

classes were small so we could concentrate a lot on our individual needs, and we all had a chance to talk!

i liked having the two teachers, who were both excellent but obviously taught and explained things in a different way that made it easier for me to pick up chinese.

Small groups & great teachers. Very good experience, but 2 weeks is nothing. I'll have to go back next year. Host family was very nice for me, but if I go back for a langer time, I would prefer a dorm.

This school focus more on speaking and accepts an "easy" way of studying. If you search for a serious fast way where you are forced to do a lot of studying, pick a different school.
