Insider tips about what future students should not miss
Unlike what has been written (20% Italian-Koreans 5% - 20% Japanese) the correct percentages in 4 weeks had only 1 Italian throughout the school, strong minority in Europe (Spain and Germany among the most numerous), and the vast majority of Japanese and Korean in equal proportion.
Other comments
Excellent availability of the principal and sociable teachers.

in addition to the very good level of English, I liked the human aspect of school personnel, all genuinely interested in making you feel at ease in a new environment
Insider tips about what future students should not miss
it's important that they must know that they will immerse themselves in a new and different environment, although positively different, however different. The most important thing is to be easy and relate to others without any shyness, in this way through the lessons and also the accommodation at the studio 819, will lead to a significant improvement in learning the English language
Other comments
maybe I'm a little biased being Italian (although I tend not to love in a special way Italians), but I would like to mention the principal of the school (Italian too), for his skill and ability in welcoming students to the school. I would also like to mention also a teacher Dan (I forgot the name unfortunately) for his skill and ability to make interesting and useful the lessons

Teachers are professional. They encourage team work, give you an incentive to speak and state your ideas. The overall atmosphere is friendly and open. However, these courses are more suitable for the people with low level of English.

The HIA in SD,CA, is a fantastic school. It's situated in a perfect place in Fashion Valley. Everything about this school is fantastic! The teachers are professional really! Aly my teach helpped me to learn English, and my grammar, listening and speaking are better than before I went to HIA. Stefania is the school manager and she is really proffessional, and Nataly and Sato too!! In my opinion HIA is the best school in SD to learn english, really! At HIA, every afternoon could be special!! Nataly organize a special thing always. I can remember one afternoon when me,my girlfriend, our schoolmate and Nataly went to mission Bay to ship by kayak and water bike. It was fantastic, amazing!!!! I love HIA, and next year I'll go anther time.
