Alle geben sich die größte Mühe, das Optimale für den Schüler anzubieten. Ich hatte wegen meiner Vorkenntnisse mit nur 2 anderen Schülern trotzdem die volle Stundenzahl. Wir haben sehr viel gelernt. Man war auch immer sehr bemüht, mit z.B. Änderung der Anfangszeiten auf unsere Bedürfnisse einzugehen.

Bitte viel Zeit für die Stadt einplanen und sehr schnell die Kenntnisse umsetzen. Die Portugiesen sind sehr entgegenkommend, wenn man auch nur ein paar Brocken spricht. Also traut Euch!

Die Schule ist einfach perfekt, direkt an der Metro-Haltestelle. Und die Lehrer (Monica + Antonio) und Disponenten (Ana) sind nicht mit Geld zu bezahlen!

International House Lisbon doesn't have many pupils from abroad who want to learn Portuguese. I think the average is 6 pupils from abroad per month. If you want to get to know new people in the school this fact is extremely disappointing, because you easily end up completely on your own and you feel isolated.

the teachers were very nice and friendly, and all of them did a very good job at teaching me my first bits of Portuguese

If you go to Lisbon, go to a disco called 'Kapital', and see if anybody is there. It is said to be a really good place, but everytime we were there, it was empty.I would love to know what it's like with lots of people partying...!

Even if you do not know any Portuguese at all, you can definitly go to that school. When I got there, I didn't know a word of P., but after 4 weeks I had really learned a lot.
