Take care where you stay. If you want to enjoy the night (including some social activities with the school). I was in Zone 4 (family house) and it´s almost impossible to go out at night because if you lost the last train (midnight) you must may a taxi to go home (more than 50 Pounds). Also, i spent about 60 minutes to get to the school every day (much tiring).
Try to stay in zone 1 or 2. I think the best way is to stay in Student Residence.

le attività sociali con maggiore organizzazione, esempio a nothing hill siamo arrivati e non abbiamo visto nulla se non cercato le strade per tutto il tempo fino a quando ci hanno lasciati liberi per negozi. sarebbe bello visitare e vedere non solo fare shopping.
