Insider tips about what future students should not miss
Normally. homestays are far from the school and the student residence, so it is hard to meet people. I was really lucky because my host family lived near the student residence. From what I saw, this rarely happens.

It's not really a teacher-student connection, it's more a type of friendship between the staff and students. Maybe you should book the standard course at first and then decide whether you need the intensive or not.
Insider tips about what future students should not miss
If you really want to get in touch with the Irish Culture, go to a host family and ask them about everything. Then you won't stay there as a guest. You'll be a part of their family and go to Pubs etc. where you get in touch with more Irish people and practice your skills. Try to organise a group of students, rent a car and travel around! Ireland was worth every € and Limerick, as ugly as it is, is right in the middle of places like Cork, Galway (Aran Islands, Cliffs), Killarney, Dingle, Ring of Kerry etc. etc. Don't be shy, enjoy your time and take your time to fall in love with Guinness:)

Insider tips about what future students should not miss
* It usually rains. * Spanish students are usually placed in the same apartments. The Spanish apartments are usually messier than the other ones. * It looks like the teachers are not very keen on Spanish students. * At night (after 20.00), try not to walk around on your own, it is better to go with someone, as the city is said to be dangerous to some extent.
Other comments
Sharing a flat is fun. Try to use the weekends to travel around (Dublin, Cliff of Mohen, etc.). It is quite an ugly town, weird food, and very expensive alcoholic drinks. Other than that, you will really enjoy and you will learn English.
