Additional information
Positive aspects of school
Good organization, professionalism, seriousness and kindness.
Negative aspects
the unavailability of books or material to be able to study or review the lesson at home.
Insider tips about what future students should not miss
Attending lessons regularly and doing your homework allows you to consolidate and memorize the lesson learned.
Other comments
Since the course is not cheap I would have preferred to have the book or the handouts included in order to have the material necessary to repeat and study.
City/place
I think is a very nice city, not so big, but just to know it and live it. Easy to be explored on foot or by bike. Full of clubs and places to eat or drink something with friends.
Quality of teaching / language progress
My course was good organized complied with my requests. A bit heavy but if you stay only 2 weeks it allows you to learn much more.
Accommodation
Lack of weekly cleaning. I only had clean sheets after a week and a half. but neither the bathrooms nor the kitchen nor the floor have been cleaned.

Additional information
Positive aspects of school
There are many splendid teachers at LSI in Cambridge. I like is Robert the most. If you meet him, you may like his class like me.
Insider tips about what future students should not miss
Although I didn't enjoy many weekend activities because of my family, you should join and enjoy many activities with your colleagues in LSI. Speak with them, be friend with them and enjoy your time with them in English. They are ready to be your English friends.
Other comments
All teachers in LSI were nice except one guy. I don't remember his name. Maybe... Chris or something? He was my 1:1 lessons teacher. I was supposed to take 5 times of 1:1 lesson. When he met me for the first time, he started to change the time of class. Then he always chatted, not gave me the English lesson. One time I had to take the very easy listening test. He played just the audio file, and there was no feedback of my test. I can take the listening test by myself without the feedback. So I asked him to take the IELTS lessons. He said 'Yes, of course', but he started chatting again. Although he said 'This is the English training.', but there was no meaning, no target to learn, no lessons, and no result. He killed my time and money. If I have a chance to take English lessons in the UK, I would like to choose LSI in Cambridge again. But if I have to take some lessons from him, I never go to Cambridge.
City/place
Everything was fine but many Chinese tourists. I thought 'There is a China Town near King's college.'
Quality of teaching / language progress
Everything was fantastic for me. Although the classrooms was small, the teachers were passionate and students are eager to learn English. Also Admin Staff tried to help the students.

Insider tips about what future students should not miss
Having seen the student residences, where other classmates lived, I would undoubtedly prefer a residence over of a host family because the family members hardly talk to you, they give you microwaved meals and live on the outskirts while the residences are more central. The host family situation has gotten much worse. Where were those families with children who would take you on trips on Saturdays and Sundays and treat you like a family members? Nowadays, they are all older couples who do it to make some money and who ignore you and pout if you arrive for dinner at 8 instead of at 7 (we are students and on vacation, come on! And for a frozen meal heated in the microwave, it's not that big of a deal)
Other comments
I would definitely come back to the school. Everything very well organized, including the pick up from the airport.

Other comments
Unilateral transfer fees have been uncommon within the EU since January 2018, therefore delayed receipt of payment. The school, for its part, will not reveal the address of the accommodation until two days before the start of the course, despite the advance payment. Very uncomfortable when travelling abroad! Better: add the transaction fees to the total price from the outset, because the banks have to act according to the law - even after Brexit.

I enjoyed the two-weeks courses at LSI in Cambridge very much and achieved my improvement goal. During this short period I was really impressed by the high engagement of the school leaders, teachers and administration staff. The school cares for the learning needs of each student and has a positive learning-focused environment.

Important to bring "guided bus tour" in Cambridge, with all the colleges as well as a walk with ponting boat and not least the unique old culture.
Other comments
It is important that LSI Cambridge maintains the installation of ventilation systems in the classrooms so that adequate air change is ensured. According to LSI, there was a process in progress regarding the lack of ventilation.

Insider tips about what future students should not miss
If you would like to improve your language in a short period of time or prepare for exam LSI is not the best option. Personally, I think the school is weak. It won't be difficult studying at LSI, you won't have a lot of homework, and the lessons will be quite simple.
Other comments
My opinion, if your main aim is improving English, LSI is not the choice.

Insider tips about what future students should not miss
The number of students was small and the group was of mixed levels.
Other comments
This school is not ideal for young learners, there is not sufficient supervision for minors. Most of the host families are not suitable for this task: they do not talk with the students, and in many cases they do not even offer the breakfast and dinner they are supposed to give. The stay at a hostel would be much better than the homestay in Cambridge.

The best accommodation is to sit Centerpoint!
Other comments
Accommodation Center Point is ideal. Cleaning is not really done, so it is wiser to bring their own bedding. School is fun and instructive, only the rooms are very small and sometimes no tables.
