Insider tips about what future students should not miss
If you place priority on the location of a teacher's house, I recommend you to request it clearly in advance. In my case, as the house was located more than 1-hour away from Paris, it was a bit inconvenient.
Other comments
Thanks to staying at teacher's house, I had many chances to speak French and really enjoyed one-week program. However, since my teacher was a kindergarten teacher, she didn't have enough experiences to teach French to foreigners. Her explanation of the grammar and the pronunciation was quite vague and she excused for her lack of knowledge of teaching. I was not very happy with the aspect.

Living at your teacher's home forces you to use the language, even after class. But this depends a lot on the teacher.
Insider tips about what future students should not miss
Do not book when you are looking for a professional course as base for your job.
Other comments
I booked four weeks and during that time, I had three teachers. The first one did not challenge me. The classes did not contain business French at all. Additionally, the food was rather simple and due to the snoring Japanese/ Brazilian guests next door I could not sleep too well. The second teacher in Vert-le-Grand, outside of Paris, was excellent. The stay was really great, linguistically as well as interpersonal. Unfortunately, I had to leave this family as they went on vacation. I am still in contact with them. MY third teacher was in Versailles. He was very professional and therefore he was rather distanced. All in all it was OK, especially because of the second family. But you could not notice a language school with a professional and standardized education. The language teachers teach according to their own principles, which meant for the first teacher a very low requirement level. Fortunately, the other teachers had a much better feeling.

Other comments
My family was perfect! I could always get an advice where to go and what place to visit. The lessons were not boring, as the teacher combined grammar with speaking.
