friendly staff - social activites outside of lessons - whole atmosphere

They organized lots of activities to keep you busy and to get to know the other students. A social activity almost every night. For example: paella night, beach party, windsurfing, beer + tapas night, cooking class. It was great. They really offer more than just Spanish lessons. Besides that, everybody in the school was really friendly (teaches, staff, the other students) and everything was well-organized.

The accommodation was a big disappointment. The internet did not work throughout my entire 8 week stay, the TV did not work and many of the lights did not work. What made it worse was that the landlord Cyril never did anything about it despite promising to on many occasions. I felt I could have learnt more if the lessons has translated some english into spanish or vice-versa. Sometimes it was hard to keep up with the teaching because of this.

The teachers teach in spanish, not english.

If you are 16-17 years old I would not recommend this program because many of the people who attend are a lot older.

Not being able to meet people my age was the only downside.

the school just had a really great atmosphere. the teachers were brilliant and the course was well structured and a great introduction to a language i had never done before!

make the most of your time there, meet as many people as possible and participate in what you can. just get stuck in and most importantly try to speak, which is very hard for beginners but pays off for sure :)

The teachers were great and the lessons also fun. The Superintensiv was not really that useful. The first week was kind of boring, but the second much better. I would book intensive the next time and use the extra time to explore the city more. YOU SHOULD GO!

The only shame was that there were only 3 classes of different abilities, and my language level did not really fit into one of the 3 offered. But that's perhaps to be expected as November is not peak time! Still, it was fun and my Spanish improved a lot so was worthwhile!

Vielfältiges Angebot der Schule an Freizeitgestaltung, sollte man in den ersten Tagen ausnutzen. Danach muß man dann unbedingt Valencia und Umgebung kennenlernen. Die Stadt ist es wert, noch mal separat "umgepflügt" zu werden.

Vorschlag zu Verbesserung: Bei Prof-Wechsel sollten sich die Lehrkräfte besser absprechen und Infos über die jew. Klasse weitergeben. Kopiertes Unterrichtsmaterial ist manchmal schlecht lesbar.

Die Gestaltung der Klassenzimmer, die Lage, die freundliche Atmosphaere, die Internationalitaet der Sprachschueler und natuerlich die Qualitaet des Unterrichts.

Den Strand in der Naehe des Dorfes El Saler im Albufera Nationalpark. Sehr schoen, ruhig, fast keine Leute und tolle Wellen! Mit dem Fahrrad in ca 1h zu erreichen. Geht aber auch mit dem Bus.

Einen der Intensivkurse buchen. Da sind meist nur wenige Teilnehmer und man lernt individueller.

In zwei Wochen haben die Lehrer, meiner Meinung nach, zu oft gewechselt. Das kann allerdings saisonal bedingt sein. Die Schule bietet zwar kostenloses WLAN an, in den meisten Räumen ist das Signal jedoch zu schwach. Eigentlich schade.

Taronja School is a very small school. Because it's a small school the teachers and students are close. The quality of the lessons was good because mostly one to one contact. I had an excellent family. Valencia has been of course the most famous city because of the river park and Kalitrava buildings. But the city centre is more pleasant. And there is a lot of smog in the city centre due to trafic and Sahara sand. But the beach is wonderful.

That was nice to meet happy people from different parts of Europe and speak, drink and eat with them under palm trees in such an interesting and pretty country like Spain. I am glad that the school organised tours and dinners.

Visit to the Bodega

The teachers are competent and use various methods to keep the lessons interesting.The room in the apartment was well kept and clean. A pity I could only spend one week for the course.
