First of all I paid for a ``pick up´´ at the airport in NYC, when the plane landed there was no one waiting for me, I had to wait 20 minutes to this person... I have paid $100, now I Know that a TAXI cost $50 and don´t make me wait. In one hand I had some problems with my level and no ones helped me. First of all they sent me to level 9, (too high for me)then when I wanted to change to the correct level the adviser said to me that there was no site, it was too busy, and other levels were finishing the course... Anyway...I had to make do with what I had, so I choose an other level by myself, this time too low because they didn´t gve me any more options In the other hand I want to talk about the accomodation. One month before go to NYC I made the scheduled for the accomodation, shared flat out of Manhattan. One week before they called me saying that there was no apartment for me, and they sent me to a kind of hostal or residence in Manhattan. By mail they told me there was a kind of cafeteria or something very cheap to eat. I tought: this is better cause I´m closer to the academy, and I´m in Manhattan!! (I have to say that people at the front desk were so friendly and helped me about all that I needed, like a family.) When I arrived at the hostal the room that I found there was really really small...there was no wardrove for my clothes, not even were site for my baggage really!! I couldnt believe that I had to live there for a month!!. I told this to the man at the front desk and he helped me to change my room, but the first impression was...depressing. I found there a lot of students of ZONI and everyone had the same problem: No fridge, no kitchen...how can I preserve a simple bottle of water cold? it was 102 degrees...nights were horrible and the water always was hot... We had always to eat outside...were was that mysterious cheap cafeteria?? By the way the teacher was friendly and I really like it. I´ve improved my english just a little bit above all thanks to people or friends who you´re talking with on the street everyday. My piece of advice for this: just make an international group, dont make a group of people from the same country.

i had absolutely no problem with this experience and hopefully i will be back at Zoni, also languagecourse.net supported me really well. My opinion is that the experience should be enjoyed for everyone!

Too many spanish students together, because of a spanish scholarship. Hard for them to learn english, as they flocked together.

It was absolutely nice, people were wonderful, Baise, our teacher was so nice.

If you don't like your teacher do not be afraid, ask for a change. It is easy.

The school is very nice. They have good teachers. It is the cheapest in Manhattan but they do not have enough social activities. They offer the TOEFL and if you will be there more than 3 months they can help you more than any other school. NYC is awesome, go there, you will not regret it.
