Student opinions about Global Exchange Education Center, Beijing

Verified reviews only, uncensored. All student opinions from students who booked a course at the school with LanguageCourse.net.
Liked
As there were fewer students at school just after the summer holiday, the school offered private lessons with a price of group course to each of us. I liked the clear and crispy attitude of the school director. As the management seems to be very flexible, I really liked it for the point.
Insider tips about what future students should not miss The teachers were young and seemed to have graduated from a university between 1 and 3 years ago. Therefore, they might not know the frequent-used business vocabulary. It may not a big issue for the beginners who want to study the language from the scratch. As most of the students came from Europe and their level was elementary, we spoke English after school.

Other comments The school was good, but the accommodation was ok. I stayed at a dormitory which seemed to be more like a normal cheap hotel. It had some privacy and was safe, however was not very clean. I couldn't expect more than the Chinese standard quality. They offered bed sheets, but not towels.

Other comments I found Michael really helpful and committed in all his effort (even when when I got lost in the night and I had to call him). The location of the school is quite close to other schools-university and all the information received the first days helped me to socialize and get around in Beijing. I would only suggest the school to make a kind of selection about levels. I think there should be an "entrance-test" to understand each student level, and then group students in class based on their level.
