How our students rated their experience in Cadiz
What our students said about Cadiz
It really is a very beautiful city and the beach is on the doorstep. A lot to see during the day. You can also do great shopping. But why is there not even a little music anywhere. Just tapas bars without music, nothing else. I just lacked the positive mood. I definitely recommend another city for beginners. The Spanish spoken in Cadiz was very fast and choppy and I found the inhabitants to be mostly very unfriendly.
Germany
Cadiz is a charming city, but it takes a while to really understand the charm of this city and the hustle and bustle. Every day you discover something new, exciting, interesting - Cadiz and its surroundings (Vejer, Barbate, ...) are like an onion - and in the end you know why Andalusia is so well-known and popular.
Austria
It is the oldest city in Europe with a very, very beautiful city center and wonderfully located on the Atlantic Ocean, great beaches and waves right next to the center and still in September a lot of culture (music, concerts, dance, especially flamenco, cinema, theater).
Germany
Picturesque, clean and safe small town, with little disturbing car traffic! Lots of history, interesting buildings and a nice fish market where you can also eat tapas, in a pleasant location with friendly people. A good place if you like flamenco.
Germany
Wonderful for learning Spanish - especially if you live in the old town. Tourists don't get lost here in the evenings. Which means you have to use your Spanish pretty quickly. A wonderful city. Absolutely recommendable! I will be back.
Germany
It was amazing, we loved being able to surf as well as walk around the charming old town. Many choices of restaurants and bakeries. We were wowed by the many open squares and parks. It was a great place to attend a language school
Third time in this beautiful city. Lots of leisure, cultural, and sporting activities, flamenco events are incredible, beaches are gorgeous, food is wonderful and the people....ohhhh the people! Lovely historical center and people.
Canada
Cadiz is a very lovable and liveable city. Young and old mix together. Charming squares, the sea from different sides, great beaches and a very varied environment. The only drawback: the many cruise ships.
Germany
It is a very special city because of its location, with many narrow streets. But you can also get to the big beaches very quickly. Very clean, very lively and I always felt safe.
Switzerland
I liked Cadiz as a city. Sometimes the dog dirt was too much for me. The city beach had a lot of plastic in the water at times. Despite everything, I would come again.
Germany
Lovely city. Not too big so easy to get around and locals very friendly. Far from other cities in Spain. Sunny but often very windy.
Canada
Cadiz is a beautiful city in a great location. Very relaxed and safe, friendly residents and everything within walking distance.
Germany
I really liked Cádiz. Everything was clean, the people were friendly. Good food at low prices. The beach was sensational.
Switzerland
Great city, I will definitely come back. Great combination of old town, culture, beach, bars, restaurants, shopping.
Austria
Nice, friendly, relatively small, safe city. And fortunately not as touristy as the major Spanish cities.
Netherlands
I used a public bus to go to school but to return I always walked along the beach. It is really nice.
Japan
Beautiful city with great weather, wonderful beaches and tasty food with lots of tapas bars
Germany
Cadiz is a wonderful place to study Spanish. The local people are extremely friendly.
Japan
Great location by the sea, but few interesting options for an afternoon hike.
Germany
Yes I would go back. Accommodation in general in the city is very expensive.

It would also be important that there are teenagers/students her age at the school.“The average age at schools in Cadiz is around 23-25 in the summer.”Tanja, LanguageCourse.net - Jun 20, 2022I would like to take a conversation course for 1 week. I am a retiree.“There is one school that offers a separate conversation course in Cadiz. Most students book a combination intensive course + conversation classes. If you do not yet have knowledge of the Spanish language, it is advisable to first do an intensive course, before taking part in conversation lessons. After all, it is difficult to have a conversation without any knowledge.”Robin Rebecca Pietersma, LanguageCourse.net - Dec 20, 2021FAQ about schools in Cadiz
