What we like about the school
  • Modern, spacious Student Centre with sun terrace and award-winning gardens.
  • Excellent nationality mix. No student nationality makes up more than 10.5% of students.

  • Lessons are 45 minutes long, which is shorter than in other schools.
How we create the points regarding what we like/dislike about a school

Location: Anglo-continental is on the outskirts of the city of Bournemouth, in a more tranquil setting than right in the city centre. The area is set in a residential setting, with small local shops and green spaces around.

Public transportation: Although the school is away from the hub of the city, it is still possible to walk to the centre. The Bournemouth Train Station is a short stroll from Anglo-continental, with lines to London and other southern cities.

Local attractions: Bournemouth has a dynamic core, with lots of commercial shops, an array of restaurants to choose from as well as a lively nightlife scene. There are buses from the centre of the city to the school in less than 10 minutes. Bournemouth is accessible by foot of bus from the school in around half an hour.

Anglo Continental hosts a large mix of students from different countries which really accentuates the change of scenery and brings us to speak English with other students. The teachers are friendly and open, while ensuring quality teaching. Activities are always lively and the staff is great! Places are really nice especially the cafeteria and gardens

Other comments Only downside : the evaluation test led me to a level slightly below the one I was expecting and despite another test, I was not allowed to pass to a higher level. I got a bit bored as I was learning again some points I had already seen before.

Other comments the rooms are too small for the number of participants and the student's number must not exceed 12 otherwise the attention for the lesson will decrase,the timeto talk for everyone is very little too, and the workgroup become very difficult.I'm 10 years experienced in this area and I have a really excellent opinion of this school.
