How we create the points regarding what we like/dislike about a school

Location: Atelier 9 is located in the bustling and unique French capital of Paris. Housed in a typical French apartment, in the hip and trendy Faubourg-Montmartre Quarter, Atelier 9 offers a unique and friendly atmosphere. The school is surrounded by shops, cafés, restaurants and has attractions such as the Opéra Garnier and the shopping district of Galeries Lafayette, within walking distance. With excellent communication to the rest of Paris via the Grands Boulevards and Cadet Metro stations, students are in a fantastic location to enjoy the city to it's fullest.

School facilities: The friendly and casual atmosphere of the school is supported through its homely facilities. These facilities include a library, full kitchen use for students, a lounge area, free coffee, free WIFI and a student support desk for any questions or queries that may arise. All classrooms are equipped with heating and ample natural light to create an optimal learning environment.

Course selection: Course selection includes Group lessons taught over several intensities (Intensive, Semi-Intensive, Evening) and Private lessons. The school's small class sizes ensure that students receive ample individual attention to reach their language goals, in a warm and inclusive environment.

Methodology: The school's "Communicative Approach" to teaching requires no textbooks, with a tailored-sheet system created by the teachers, giving students all they need to further their French language studies accordingly.
  • The language school Atelier 9 was founded in Paris, France in 2002.
  • Legal name / parent company: SARL L’ATELIER 9

The small size of the school and especially its classes make for an extremely personal atmosphere and are fantastic for improving your French (or Spanish) quickly. I have since been in larger schools with larger classes and I dearly miss the atmosphere at Atelier 9. That, and the free coffee.

Other comments I am grateful that I found this school. I chose it because of comments like mine on the internet. Here you learn to speak. Of course you are doing written exercises which increases your ability to speak and retain information. The teachers are very enthusiastic and I would say commited to teaching. The classes are well rounded in terms of age - from 23-65 yrs. I hope to return next year.
