Student opinions about Carl Duisberg Centrum, Radolfzell

Liked
I spent 2 months in Radolfzell and these months were the best of my life. At school, both the teachers and other staff were particularly helpful and nice. Classes were never boring and the teacher answered every question. After the lessons, the school organized leisure activities that were always varied and interesting. Already on the first day I found friends with whom I speak every day. Although Radolfzell is a small town, I have never been bored. You have the opportunity to bathe in Lake Constance or drive any boats, do a lot of sports, go to pubs and just shop or eat. Nevertheless, the city is safe. You can also go on a little trip to Switzerland, France, Italy or Austria because they are very close. You should not doubt, because no matter what kind of person you are, you will enjoy this language school and city. I hope I can go back again. :)))

Wonderful location in a small town on Bodensee. Nice small size school, easy to get to know participants in many other classes. Very friendly and helpful staff, including the cafeteria lady with her home-made cakes during the morning break and the social activity coordinators.
Insider tips about what future students should not miss The nearby tennis club hosts an open afternoon for visitors on Wednesdays. Rent a bike and explore all along the Bodensee, including the lovely island of Reichenau near Konstanz.

The quality of teaching at the school is very good and most of the teachers teach very well. The environment is also very good, on the quiet side, very suitable for learning
Disliked
If the teacher who regularly teaches your class is on vacation, there will be teachers who will help come in and fill in for you, and there are a couple of teachers who really aren't very good at teaching.

Other comments The instruction was outstanding but the general information about transporation and other important pieces on information for students to know were not presented in an organized packet when you arrive right away. Students had to know to ask or it was not forthcoming.

Quality of teaching / language progress: No answer for the activities as I did not have time for them. Very friendly staff. Felt like I was a part of a family in that school. Not too big. I was lucky to study in November with very few students (5 in the class, then 4) Excellent teachers. Each of them with special interests but very helpful, patient, and they made us feel at ease. I really improved my German thanks to them.

The residence is very, very simple. Little cleanliness and the selection of very basic food restaurants with little variety.
