We have developed a program aimed exclusively at food professionals interested in discovering the secrets of Tuscan cuisine. Each session has a specific theme and duration: Spring Cuisine (March, 1-2 weeks) Italian Bread & Dessert (April, 1 week) Mediterranean Cuisine (July, 1-2 weeks) Summer Palate (August, 1 week) A Journey Through Italy (October, 1-3 weeks) Christmas Festivities (December, 1 week) As part of the programme, participants will also visit a vineyard, a wine cellar, a butcher’s shop and other retail and wholesale shops. Every evening under the guidance of the "nonna" (grandmother) of the family the student prepares typical regional dishes. The beautiful Etruscan city of Viterbo (175 kilometers from Siena) is conveniently located not far from Rome, many important Etruscan centers and the sea. 3 hours of language, grammar and culture in the morning, 5 days a week, PLUS: One afternoon per week students will be accompanied by the teacher on a cultural visit.
