How we create the points regarding what we like/dislike about a school

Position in Munich: The school is found in the north west part of Berlin. It is in a busy part of the city with a large selection of shops, restaurants and bars.

Travelling around Berlin: At the end of the street is the tram stop Hannoversche Straße, which has more than one line running through it. Buses also run from this point. 5 minutes in the other direction is the Berlin Nordbahnhof transit station. From here there are trams, buses and commuter trains. The U-Bahn underground service connects the whole city, and the closest one to DID Deutsch-Institut is U Oranienburger Tor. This is a station on the U6 line.

Exploring Berlin: The Reichstag Building and Brandenburg Gate are both around 25 minutes by foot from the school, or 20 minutes by one of the transportation options close by. The Berliner Fernsehturm, Berlin Cathedral and Pergamonmuseum are all clumped together close to the River Spree. These are easily accessible by public transportation from the school as well as by foot, in under half an hour.

Course structure: There are general German lessons, business classes, exam preparation courses, internships and university placement packages at DID Deutsch-Institut in Berlin.

Junior programmes: The Berlin campus offers programmes for junior and teenage students throughout the summer months.

What to expect at the school: At DID Deutsch-Institut the school has excellent facilities that students can use throughout their stay. The classrooms are bright for optimal learning, and for continuing study after class, there is an internet cafe, a modern study centre and cable connections for laptops. During the breaks students can enjoy the cafe and a rooftop terrace to meet other students, and practice their German.

School chain: DID Deutsch-Institut teaches German to international students in a number of cities throughout Germany. They focus on providing students with a complete German experience in an immersive environment. There are young learner programmes as either a summer camp or a homestay option. The summer camps take place in German speaking cities in both Germany and Austria.

The schools have been approved for their accomplishments by the FDSV, and are a member of the FaDaF. DID Deutsch-Institut has won various awards for their high performance as a German language school.

Student opinions about DID Deutsch-Institut, Berlin

Liked
The class was conducted with a small group, creating an engaging learning environment. The pace and organization were perfect, making it not only informative but also enjoyable to attend. The teachers exhibited a high level of preparation, experience, and an ability to convey concepts in an easy-to-follow manner. Furthermore, I was pleasantly surprised by the additional efforts made by the DID school to organize events that complement the language learning process. These extra activities enhance the overall learning experience and contribute to a more educational journey. I want to express my sincere appreciation for your suggestion to join this school and I am thoroughly enjoying my time here.

You can speak openly with the teachers in german, and they encourage you to speak more. It is not a strict classroom setting, so you learn to become more comfortable with speaking German. also the excursion opportunities are very good and worthwhile.
Insider tips about what future students should not miss take every opportunity to speak in German, because it's too easy to start speaking in your own language, when everyone speaks it too (spanish is very common)

I especially enjoyed the afternoon activities, which allowed us to explore Berlin more closely and be immersed in Berlin with its museums, monuments and history.
Insider tips about what future students should not miss One thing to note, don't try to study outside of lessons. The lessons themselves are fine and it is just enough for you to learn German. Instead, spend time with your friends, read a book, or do something else aside from learning German all the time.

Other comments The teachers can vary on how well they can teach. My first teacher was funny and great but didn't really explain anything. The second teacher was absolutely boring and the only interesting thing we did was watch a film. The last teacher was amazing and taught us quite a lot. The higher you go with your level, the more enjoyable and fun the course and teacher is.

Other comments The first day there were two sick teachers and they had to merge two groups :-( I had 3 teachers in 1 week :-( The system of the school is to have 2 teachers per week so that the students get used to different accents. I would prefer 1 teacher per week so that the teacher could get to know the students better, but in general, everything worked for me because I have a lot to learn and I do not have the pressure to learn the language to find a job or study or live there. Also, I took the course to live the experience "from the other side": I am a teacher of Spanish for foreigners, I like to see how other teachers and other schools work. I thought the coordination among teachers regarding the content of the lessons was very good.
