The English Plus course includes 10 group conversation lessons as an extension to the 20 lessons General English course.
During these additional afternoon lessons, you will engage in communicative speaking activities aimed at improving your speaking fluency and sharpening your listening abilities.
This course is ideal for students whose level of English is strong elementary (A2).
Course outcomes:

Easy School of Language’s General English course will prepare you for using the language across a wide range of situations and contexts, thanks to focusing the lesson plans on all four of the main language skills: reading, writing, speaking and listening.
Your course will be based on a textbook, but you can expect to have your teacher make use of a variety of different activities and methods throughout your experience in order to keep everything stimulating and fun.
On a commitment of 20 lessons per week, you’ll make radical improvements as time goes on, and you’ll also have the time in your day-to-day to discover Malta and everything it has to offer.
The General English course will boost your confidence to communicate in English both with native and non-native speakers in the school environment as well as in real life situation. Your teacher will use a course book and supplement lessons with authentic material and meaningful communicative activities.

20 hours of lessons per week aimed at preparing students for the IELTS exam.
Consisting of 20 academic English group lessons, this course will help you improve your English language skills to prepare for and obtain the internationally recognised IELTS certification which is often a requirement for university admission. The teacher will use IELTS material that will prepare you for the test in the best way possible. The focus will be on improving your English language skills (reading, writing, listening and speaking) while building up your vocabulary, improving your pronunciation and achieving a better understanding of English grammar. All of this in a context that will provide you with the opportunity to communicate in English with native and non-native speakers. Although most universities would expect you to reach an IELTS score of 6.0 or 6.5, which is equivalent to B2, you can start preparing for IELTS at a lower level.

This course is aimed at non-native language teachers or teachers of other subjects, working in secondary schools, who have just started using CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) or intend to implement this approach in their classroom. CLIL is used in schools to teach subjects such as sciences, history and maths, using a foreign language. Whether it is the language teacher teaching another subject in a foreign language or the subject teacher using a foreign language to teach content, the outcome will be the integrated learning of both content and language.
This course will, first of all, provide an opportunity for teachers to brush-up their English language skills and gain the confidence they need to be able to use English during CLIL lessons. Secondly, the methodology component of the course will provide teachers with the knowledge of the underlying CLIL principles and many practical ideas for their CLIL lessons.
Teachers attending this course must have a minimum level of A2 spoken English (PreIntermediate or higher).
