Location: EDUCA Russian language school St. Petersburg is located in the culturally rich capital city of Russia, St. Petersburg. The school is housed in the heart of St. Petersburg and has many shops, eateries, cafes, bars and attractions nearby.
Course selection: The school provides Russian language courses for students of all levels, from beginner to full proficiency. In addition to General Russian taught over various schedules and intensities, EDUCA St. Petersburg also gives courses in Business Russian and Russian for specific purposes. Private tuition is available in conjunction with or independently from any other course. Russian + Internship programmes are also available regularly.
Social and cultural: As well as being a language school, ECUDA Russian language school St. Petersburg also promotes Russian culture. Activities and excursions are routinely available for students to enjoy. Activities can include speaking club, cinema club, making matryoshka dolls and participating in local festivals! Excursions can include boat trips around the city, tours and visits to popular museums and sites of interest, and lunches out at Russian restaurants.
Getting around: There are several bus and subway stops within a 5-minute walk of the school's front doors. The closest subway stop is the Admiralteyskaya stop which is within 400m of the school.

EDUCA Russian Language School’s Standard course offers the support and social opportunities that come with group learning experiences. Groups are kept small, which means that you’ll get to know your fellow students, and also that you and your teacher will be able to work together effectively since they will learn your strengths and weaknesses as an individual. Taking advantage of this small class size format, there is a significant focus given to conversation activities - in addition to the formal language skills common to all language courses.
Learning about Russian culture forms a significant part of the course content, which will give you insights into the nation’s musical, social and artistic tendencies. All of this will help you in your goal to understand Russian more quickly and more comprehensively.
Your fees cover: lunch at a local Russian restaurant, a guided tour around St Petersburg, the placement test for your initial group level, a student card that gives you access to certain museums, and the certificate at the end of your course.
The communicative method the school uses allows its students to study all aspects of the Russian language – grammar, speaking, pronunciation, reading, and listening comprehension. Also, students will be immersed in Russian culture, studying rich Russian traditions, unique folklore, music, art, etc.
Special note for 2024 holiday season: If you plan to take a course during the high season months of April, June, July or August 2024 we urgently advise you to book as early as possible. In 2023 many schools were fully booked during the holidays, and the situation is unlikely to be different for 2024 due to a current shortage of teachers, which affects most schools.

The couple tries to look after the students after breakfast and is an interesting conversation partner for Russian culture and history. “I really like the intensive-but-friendly quality of learning, and I feel like I learned a lot! Daily homework was motivating and reasonable. The teacher and the group were really friendly, and the classes were diverse (some grammar, some vocabulary, some talking - it never got monotonous).”

Quality of teaching / language progress: I've been at EDUCA in the spring of 2019 for 4-weeks groups course. I fell in love with the school, my teacher, my host family and of course with the fascinating Saint Petersburg! The school is so friendly and the staff is always ready to help. The teacher I had was very professional, I liked lessons with her so much that when I finally got some spare time, I decided to take online lessons when I got back home. It was very effective for my Russian and as soon as I have spare time again, I will definitely come back to EDUCA, at least for another portion of Skype lessons. But it is worth to visit the school in person. It is wonderful! Thank you EDUCA!

Quality of teaching / language progress: In winter there are only a few students, so instead of booked lessons in a group, I had individual lessons, which of course also has positive sides. Classroom a bit dreary. Technology doesn't work. Teachers mostly female and very friendly and helpful. Very centrally located school. Respond to individual requests. There were several community activities each week.
Other comments Thank you for the wonderful time. Thank you for not incurring any fees when I rescheduled my appointment due to illness. Good service, nice teachers.
