General Information on Antigua
Antigua, the once capital of the military governor of Guatemala, was founded in the early 16th century. Built 1,500 m above sea-level, in an earthquake-prone region, it was largely destroyed by an earthquake in 1773 but its principal monuments are still preserved as ruins. During three centuries time the city, which was built on a grid pattern inspired by the Italian Renaissance, acquired a number of superb monuments.
General Information on Enforex
The language school Enforex was founded in Antigua, Guatemala in 1989. The school has a small courtyard and terraces with a beautiful view of the Agua Volcano, 8 classrooms and space for private classes on the terrace, a video and meeting room for afternoon activities.
Facilities
The school is located just 1 block from the Plaza Central. The city is small, so students can easily walk to the school from their home stay and get to know the attractions of Antigua by foot.
Airport transfer
Best arrival airport is Guatemala City. It takes 120 minutes by car to school.
