The area on Costa Rica's north west Pacific Coast known as "The Gold Coast" received its name because it catered to "the rich and famous". This area provides a broad selection of activities for travelers, business people and retired people. Flamingo Beach is regarded as one of the finest white sand beaches in Costa Rica and may well be one of the most scenic Oceanside sites in the world.
