General Information on Habana
In Habana, the capital of Cuba, there are more than 2.5 millions inhabitants. Habana is a city pulsating with colour and life - even the name Habana evokes images of dusky maidens, cigar smoke, revolution and passion. The architecture of Old Habana is very charming with its narrow, cobbled streets, shady plazas, grilled windows and grand, if in many places, crumbling buildings. The Cubans are optimistic and their infectious smiles will make any visitor feel welcome.
General Information on Enforex
The language school Enforex was founded in Habana, Cuba in 1989. Enforex Havana is unique in that there is no central school. Instead, an intimate, personalized learning environment is provided, organized by our well trained, highly educated teachers of Spanish as a foreign language.
Facilities
Classes are held either in the teacher's home, in the house of the host family or, for certain mini group courses, in a cultural center. All homes and centers are located in Vedado, a safe, residential area of the city full of Art Deco buildings and murals by famous Cuban artists.
Airport transfer
Best arrival airport is Habana. It takes 30 minutes by car to school.

| Comment | The selected host families live in spacious homes in a nice part of the town: Reparto Vedado. Though it is mainly a quiet area, there are several nice bars and discotheques. Vedado is at approx. 40-50 minutes walking distance or approx. 15 minutes by bicycle or taxi from the old town of Havana. Dinner is between 18:30 - 20.00 h. Almost all rooms have air-conditioning and a private bathroom. Laundry is NOT included. The host family can take care of the laundry for a small charge. |
