This course is made up of 20 lessons General English + 5 lessons Business English + Optional Business English online (approx. 5 hours per week). Students can combine study of general vocabulary, grammar and skills tuition at an appropriate level with focused business English lessons for professionals or students planning to enter a profession which will require a good level of English. The Business course focuses on spoken and written English for daily workplace communication and students complete a range of practical assignments. For the optional ELC Business English online component, students complete Business English language and skills tasks via ELC-online to support their classroom studies. They can also access our Business English language and writing bank which has useful language and vocabulary for specific contexts and models the writing they may be required to do in English (such as emails and reports). Please note that there is an additional fee of US$40 for this online component which is payable at ELC on commencement of the course.
