Annie
68 years“Variety of students, from many countries. Teachers are motivated and they adapt to every student. The teachers that came to the activities were interesting and professional and they seemed motivated. I missed a language lab to improve my pronuntiation and memorise the structures after class.”

Other comments I missed a place to study and work or check books/videos. I think after the class is over they don't really show mauch interest for the students. I found a place to work. I was disappointed about that too. I had to find a place to study at a library in a park. If I were at the school, I could talk to other students but at the library you can't speak much without making noise.

Svetlana
36 years“I liked the lessons at school. In general, it was my first experience in a group, and I was a little afraid that it would be either difficult or boring, but it was fun and not too difficult for me.
I liked extra activities after classes - city tours and an extra grammar class.”
Insider tips about what future students should not miss In Seville it may rain really hard in autumn. So take shoes that you can wear in the rain.
Book more than a week. A week is very little. You just start inegrating in the group, and the week is already over.
Attend extra classes - this is an additional practice, an opportunity to meet other teachers and students.
The school has a drinking fountain, so if you have your own bottle, you can save on water.

Other comments The building is located in the city center. It is very convenient - after classes you can always find where to eat, where to walk, and you do not have to go anywhere. There is a bus stop near the school, and you can take one to go to the airport.
Friendly administration and really cool teachers.
My group was quite large, about ten people, but I did not feel any lack of attention from the teacher.
I was alone there and spent there only one week, so I attended afternoon activities with pleasure.

Other comments Too much time spent on writing. There should be no other languages spoken in class. There should be more repetition, repetition, repetition. We once attended a U.N. sanctioned French Language Course for a month in France and spent each day just trying to learn vocabulary, starting with present tense verbs, going to the simple future first repeating personal answers to questions by the teacher around the class. It didn't take long to internalize and eventually we moved on to the past tenses. I feel we learned a lot more quickly there. Language use should be spoken first then written word in later classes.

Other comments We had classes at three different locations in Sevilla, which I think is a bit unusual. The 5+ lessons were in another location 20 minutes' walk away so we had not much time for lunch these days.
Some activities arranged by the school started at 16:00 and our 5+ class ended at 16:30 so we could not always participate in those activities, which was a pity.

Quality of teaching / language progress: Violeta was a great teacher who was totally fun to learn Spanish with. She was very committed, organized the lessons varied, had a lot of knowledge about Spain and culture and was open to questions of any kind. However, on the last day (March 1st, 2019) we had a different teacher (unfortunately I don't remember her name). This was so unfriendly and negative! I would certainly have broken off the language course if I had had this teacher for 3 weeks. An impossible way, unfriendly, arrogant, down-looking !!!
