General Information on Exeter
Anyone intending to visit Exeter may expect to find an old Cathedral City, but will encounter much more. Aside from the obvious delights of the Cathedral and its immediate environment there are the charms of Rougemont, the lost industry of the Ancient harbour, the locked Canal, the Roman Ruins, and of course many Elizabethan, Georgian and Victorian buildings many of which have been well maintained.

The language school Globe English Centre was founded in Exeter, England in 1978. It is located in a quiet street in the city centre, it is a 5 min walk from the main shops, sports facilities and stations. It is also only 15 minutes from the sea-side and 2 hours from the Capital city of London.

The Globe's modernised 19th century building offers pleasant gardens, sun terraces and students can enjoy free access to Internet and study centre. Junior students profit from having a large recreation room and the adults a kitchen for drinks and cooking. The school provides televisions with DVDs and videos to support students studies.
