Student opinions about GLOSSA School of Polish, Cracow

Liked
The city of Krakow is unique in its combination of cultural abundance and everything-within-walking-distance. The location of the school so close to the old town center is a big plus. The school's equipment is very good, and the access in the school's rooms to the e-polish.eu Internet platform with the lesson texts is particularly attractive. The free time activities, where you can get to know the Polish culture and language better in addition to the contact with the teachers and other students, take place every day in the summer. The quality of the teaching is first class. I can't say anything about accommodation because I organised an accommodation myself. The price / performance ratio of the lessons is very good. Overall rating: For me, the school in Krakow is number one.

The central location is very good; the school can be easily reached by public transport. And in a few minutes, you are in the old town of Krakow. The staff is very motivated and has a wonderful way of imparting language and culture. The patience and perseverance of the teachers is very commendable. Each lesson had a relation to the everyday life. It has given me extraordinary pleasure. If I have the opportunity again, I will be happy to return to this school for another course.
Insider tips about what future students should not miss Staying with a family is very worthwhile. It creates connections and promotes a mutual understanding. And it gives you the opportunity to practice the language.

Quality of teaching / language progress: A thoroughly professional establishment in all aspects. I was truly sorry that I could not stay for longer but I had to put my two old dogs into kennels while I was away. The teaching staff continually went out of their way to support me. Their materials are far superior to those I was using in the UK so I have come back with those and continued access to their audio and support materials online.
Other comments I just wish I could have stayed for a couple of months!

Quality of teaching / language progress: Very good teachers. And I could bring my dog to the school (into the training room). Worked out perfect. Other comments I have just finished the Polish course and I'm excited. Kracow's teachers have been professional and friendly, as excellent has been the homestay. The organization was great as a whole. This summer I think I will repeat the experience, but maybe for a longer period of time. Kind regards and happy holidays. Marco.

  • The first thing to bear in mind is that visa regulations are quite tricky and are constantly changing, so it is best to always contact the embassy or consulate of the country you are visiting in your home country. That said, the main thing you need is the letter of invitation from the school, which will be provided once you have booked and paid for your booking in full, never before.
