3-Part Program: English Studies - Work Placement - Research Paper. English studies must make up 50% of your program duration. Students will attend General English classes, receive focused Business English instruction and attend 6 internship preparation modules. Work placement must be a minimum of 8 weeks. Please note that the minimum duration for the engineering field is 12 weeks. Work placement cannot begin between December 1st and January 15th. Locations available: Toronto, Vancouver, The Rocky Mountains and Whistler A research paper of at least 1000 words must be presented at the end of the program in order to receive your certificate. Internship Placement Fee: $1200.00 CAD Open to students ages 19-30 years old. Course length: 8-24 weeks + work placement of equal or lesser duration.

Students must have a minimum of ILAC Level 10 to be eligible for this course. Students tested at Level 10 begin in the Introduction to Business course (12 weeks). Students tested at Level 12 study in the Advanced Business course (12 weeks). Topics include handling telephone calls, negotiating, networking, managing meetings, interviewing, and socializing in a business environment; as well as the ability to write effective business memos, letters, e-mails, informal and formal reports and presentation materials. Students develop all the skills necessary to pass the Cambridge Business English Examination (BEC). Minimum course duration is 2 weeks.

Rooms generally have one bed, although double bedded rooms are available on request. The 155 room facility has guest area kitchens and a coffee bar in the lobby. Room furnishings include a desk and chair, closet area and a personal refrigerator. All rooms are fully carpeted and many rooms include television. Prices vary depending on chosen room, time of year and length of stay and will be confirmed upon reception of your request.
