General Information on Koinè Center
The language school Koinè Center was founded in Florence, Italy in 1980. The school is situated in the historic center of Florence, between Piazza Duomo and Piazza Santa Croce. It is just a few hundred meters from the Sant'Ambrogio market and the flea market. Many popular bars and restaurants are found in this area, and the University of Florence and the largest public libraries in the city are within walking distance.

The classes are held in Palazzo Borghese, a Renaissance palace completely rebuilt in the 19th century in neoclassical style by Prince Borghese. There is a collection of more than 100 films on VHS and DVD available for students use in the afternoon. Moreover there is an Internet point that the students can use with a card sold at the office and a free WIFI connection. A kitchen inside the school is available for cooking and wine activities.
