Location: Language School in Portsmouth is located in the heart of the University Quarter of Portsmouth, England. A large school with many facilities and much space, LSI Portsmouth offers a wide range of courses for adult students, to suit many abilities, needs and ambitions. Next to the train station, public library, bars, theatres, nightclubs and restaurants, students have all they need within proximity of the school, to reach their language goals whilst having a memorable time in Portsmouth.

Course selection: The course selection is extensive, catering to the needs of all adult students, business and executive professionals, as well as students of military or academic backgrounds. Business courses are available over a range of schedules, taught in groups or privately. General English programmes are suitable for all levels of student, with a Culture 30+ programme favourable to students aged accordingly. Exam preparation courses are at one's disposal throughout the year for FCE, CAE and CPE exams. Teacher training courses are also attainable with specific start dates.

School facilities: The facilities at LSI Portsmouth are excellent, offering everything a student requires to reach their language goals and more. Facilities include a restaurant, lounge area, computer lab, free after-class language learning software, a games room and a student support desk for any questions, queries or concerns that may arise. All classrooms are equipped with heating and ample natural light to create an optimal learning environment.

All General English and exam courses offer additional 5-10 free self-study hours throughout the week. No GE classes on Friday afternoon but Business classes continue as normal on Friday afternoons.

Other comments I think some good advice for students who want to take 1-to-1 tuition is to think about at which time of day they want to do it. Note: 1-to-1 is the "hardest" type of class with the best possibility of improving your language skills. So try to get 1-to-1 tuition in the morning!
