General Information on Limerick
Lying in the midwestern part of Ireland, Limerick is an ideal base for a holiday, short break or conference. Limerick, dominated by the might of the River Shannon, is a city of historic contrast, with a medieval core and later a Georgian city. It is Ireland's 4th largest city, with only around 53,000 inhabitants. When in Limerick, there's plenty to keep visitors occupied including King John´s Castle, St. Mary´s Cathedral, Hunt Museum, walking tour of Limerick City and boat tours along the Shannon.
