General Information on St. Julians
The small fishing village of St. Julians has grown into a popular resort with some of the best hotels, restaurants and cafes catering both for Maltese people and tourists. During the day, there are popular rocky beaches ad a small sandy beach offering clear blue water. During the evening, this is Malta's most popular nightlife area with over 400 entertainment outlets, a cinema and bowling complex and more.
General Information on Malta English Centre
The language school Malta English Centre was founded in St. Julians, Malta in 1991. The centre is located in St. Julians, a charming tourist resort built around a small bay. Traditional colourful fishing boats are still found here. St. Julians provides a wide range of accommodation from host families to 5-star hotels. It is Maltas entertainment capital with restaurants, bars, night-clubs, shops, a cinema, a casino, a shopping centre, a sandy beach and a bowling alley - all within a few minutes walk from the school.
Facilities
The centre was built in 2001 and consists of two modern buildings on opposite sides of a small street. All 59 classrooms are comfortable, bright and fully air-conditioned, 12 of which are designed for small groups and private tuition. The school has a large Internet cafe with wireless Internet connection and a computer room providing a total of 47 computers. The centre also has TV, video, audio and library facilities. Students can relax in the two large roof gardens or in the student lounge. There are several cafes next to the school and the St. Julians bus terminus is conveniently located nearby. All students have access to a Beach Club at a 5 star lido during the summer months and gym membership throughout the year. Both facilities are just a few minutes walk away.
